Each element has a unique set of properties.
It is this difference that makes them unique.
As a result, elements can be identified by their properties.
For example, the elements iron and nickel are both metals.
Both are good conductors of heat and electricity.
However, iron is attracted by a magnet.
Nickel, another type of metal, is not.
